so i took the weekend off to finish Mass Effect...
so this post is just about Mass Effect in all it's spoilery goodness...

SPOILERS! don't read if you haven't finished the game! (i think i must be one of the few left on earth to finish mass effect so late = =;;.. anyway...)


i just gotta say, the last stage in the Citadel was the most epic stage ever!! OMG... my jaw was literally dropping throughout the entire thing! and... and...
since i had full Intimidate, i talked Saren into committing suicide.. and i totally did NOT see that coming! when he raised his gun to his head i was ... O__O
OMGYGJSWGJDGWUDSAIOSAPS*(^&*&%NOOOOOOOOO
he totally redeemed himself there... and passed nihlus to be the coolest turian in the game for me XD

though the graphics in mass effect weren't all that amazing, it had it's style no doubt... kinda reminded me of Star Trek, must be all that lens flare...
and the battle system was.. meh.. the equipment UI was rather clunky... the mako steered like a drunk cow...the side quests looked like they were an afterthought...

BUT! it all made it up with the amazing dialogue and wonderful storyline
i gotta say, out of all the games i've played recently... Fable2, Prince of Persia, RE5, Fallout3, Dead Space... this was the only game which totally blew me away at the end... you really feel like a HERO who saved the universe at the end of the game...when shepard came out of the wreckage smiling, i was grinning along with him .. that was so epic...

i think none of those other games gave me such a feeling of satisfaction at a job well done at the end XD (i'm looking at you, PoP... suckiest ending ever)

here're the main decisions i made :

let the rachni queen go
saved wrex
let ashley die (i thought i had time to go back and save her =
finished the romance sideplot with liara (since ash is dead lol)
intimidated saren into suicide
saved the council
made anderson the new council rep
