Hi Sandara ^_^, just wanted to show you my first attempt to learn from one of your tutorials. I think I'll be able to do decently well if I continue practicing. Thank you for even posting references, I'm sure a lot of people appreciate it. (This is not a copy, just a study of your methodology :D): herbtr0n.deviantart.com/art/Lo…

I know its not grand, but I'm only just starting out... 4th? painting ever. Let me know if you'd prefer I remove this.

is this an actual painting, or is it digitally done on a computer?

She did it digitally. I think on a tablet if I'm not mistaken.

I thought so, as it looks smooth even where she rubbed out the tail and added more sky
I didn't think that would be as easy to do on a painting

Maybe if you know a few tricks, I guess. After all you can paint over paint. lol.

true but with digital art you can use tools to blend them

with actual paint, because its a substance its hard to get two tones or shades to blend side by side

This step by step process image gave me more appreciation for your Hydra painting. First I closed the window after seeing it, but seeing the step by step brought my attention to the details that were put in and I decided to give Hydra a second look! XD

I really like your choices of colours. That sky alone was enough to make me space out(in a good way).

Curious about the dotted lines around the heads. Is it for the scales? Just for memory? Thanks!
