Here's a painting demo I did, with narration. (Though I don't really say much) I hope you will find it useful. This character is Little Green, from the Chinese story "Legend of the White Snake". (Since this is the year of the snake)
Hey, I just seen your tutorial, wich I found very interesting (and the drawing is stunning, like always). But through all of it, I couldn't stop asking myself how you were using the lasso tool to transform your image (like moving the head upper, for example). Do you think you could help me with that ? Thank you very much by advance
Sandara...I cannot thank you enough for posting this tutorial WITH voice! You may think you don't say much, but you actually say a lot...
I've always known that one of my issues is that I OVER detail everything. it turns something that should of taken 10-15 hours to something that literally takes WEEKS to finish. It also sort of robs me of my joy of drawing. Kinda hard to stay motivated when you progress so little in a day.
You mentioned that some people forget to zoom in, my issue is I never zoom OUT. I'm so busy fussing over details. You can see if it my drawings, but the reality is that those tiny little details will never show. I also work on way too many layers...always afraid I'll mess something up...always forget you can just paint over it and fix it!
I'm going to keep looking at your video and I'm going to really try to do something like this. Thank you again!
Hi! Needless to say I'm in love with your work, and I almost drooled out of joy when I saw this lovely demo of you.. I just have one question: in the video, when you are blending two colours, you use the colour picker quite often, have you got a shortcut set for that? If so, how did you manage to do that? Thank you!
Thank you very much by advance
