A lot of people ask me about how I got started painting, and I always say that my roots were in traditional watercolors. Here's a very old painting I managed to dig out of the storeroom. :)
It's just a copy from a picture in an animal book, if I remember correctly.

These are amazing. May I ask how big your traditional paintings usually are? (along with the cats and hummingbird one). All the details are just astounding! I'm also curious, how were you able to do the whites of the fur and highlights of the feathers in the hummingbirds?
