how it's done by sandara how it's done by sandara
Looks like quite a few people are curious how i made those 2 silver pendant things!
Here's my amateurish way of doing it. :) It's actually not that amazing, lol.

The shops on etsy are :

though i actually got my crystal from a shop locally.

There's alot more shops on etsy offering the metal stampings, just do a search for brass/silver stampings and you should find plenty.

I used diamond glaze to just stick the pieces together. (The metal pieces are quite flexible and can be bent, just be careful) I suppose solder can be used too, but i don't have a soldering iron. :)

For more Swarovski crystals I tend to go to www.firemountaingems.com which oh lord the things you could buy in bulk and for cheap at that. This actually may come in handy for me when I get back into my own crafting so thanks for post this ^.^

Do you heat it to bend it? How would one without soldering equipment bend it? ^^

Doesn't give it any lesser value because of simplicity of making, though. One must still see how the pieces fall together, and... I doubt I would.

there's alot of shops selling these things on etsy, so it'll be better if you search around a little. :) just search for "silver stampings" or "silver findings" under "Supplies".

The metals themselves look like they are combined with no sign of tampering from what I can see, how did you do that part?

ahh i seriously thought you made the metal parts yourself ^^; nice to see i'm not the only one taking shortcuts lol

diamondglaze? that stuff actually works? :O_o: I use cement..

alright this time i;ll try it with diamondglaze, your work is simply done but beautiful xD

:iconsandara:

i like diamond glaze because when it hardens, it becomes totally clear. so you won't even see what's holding the pieces together.(also because it's the only glue i have right now XD )
