Everytime I peek by your portfolio, I always find more wonderful pieces I missed the last time! Even with this as a speed paint, I love it! I adore the composition and the untold story viewers can imagine on seeing this piece!
Sandara, I love this piece. Do you ever do images for bookcovers? I am an author of historical novels and I have a medieval work in process that I would love to talk to you about. You can email me at Regan.Walker123@gmail.com.
I know this is going to sound stupid but how do you achieve that bush effect. Its like paint strokes without the bristles and is lovely. All I can manage is this very solid tapered line on photoshop that doesn't really achieve the same effect/looks crap.
The full look is obtained with multiple brushes, for underneath the brush strokes at the front is a different pattern (I am currently talking about the rocks and mountains) and on top of that the artist used a block shaped brush. and by looking at it the drawing pad supports the turning of the drawing pen and thereby turning the brush. (the key to the rough effect is not being too carefull) Is that what you needed to know?
