this is not Skyrim fanart, though the horse is based on Boris the mountain climbing, dragon-killing horse.

the story i had in my mind when i did this was :

the girl's sword is forged from the otherworldly metal of the alien seed, which is why it is glowing the same blue. now she has returned to it to...(i don't know) XD
